Parent Advisory Committee

Hayesville Middle School's Parent Advisory Committee meet a few times during the year. The meetings are held in the school media center at 7:00 pm, dates to be announced. The purpose of the committee is to act as a forum for administrators, teachers, parents and members of the community to discuss middle school issues, concerns, programs, practices and policies. This open communication solicits parent and community input and suggestions on improving and maintaining the exemplary standards of our middle school. All parents are invited to attend the Parent Advisory Committee meetings.

Band Boosters

Parents of Hayesville Middle School Band members are invited and encouraged to join our band booster organization. The Band Boosters assist the band director in funding, organizing and supervising supplemental activities for all band students. These parents are an integral part of insuring our student's success in the band program.

Choral Boosters

Parents of Hayesville Middle School Chorus members are invited and encouraged to join our choral booster organization. The Choral Boosters assist the choral director in funding, organizing and supervising activities for all chorus students. These parents assist in enhancing our student's experiences in the choral program.

Open House 6th , 7th and 8th Grades

Hayesville Middle School's Open House for sixth, seventh and eighth grade parents is held on the first Monday night following the first day of school each school year. Open House allows parents and teachers to meet and discuss the student's goals and objectives in each subject area. Students, parents and teachers offer suggestions that will help guarantee each student's success in mastering the skills and concepts for course work. Parents are given an opportunity to visit the classrooms and to examine the instructional materials available to our students.
